After the tough tournament winning game for these teams i'm sure they will pick up where they left off tomorrow in Thorold 7:30 p.m., if thats not enough they continue friday in the falls.
the scheduling of these games might have been a mistake, three consecutlve games between these two teams can not have good results

To All Blackhawk Fans,
Come out tonight and watch my Canucks thump your Palefaces. We'll hammer you. Then meet me back here at , oh, lets say 10.30pm and we'll discuss the beating you take.

I hope NF practiced their goon hitting tactics. They have to hit harder than they did at the tournament p/off game. Miller is solid, got right back out and shut them down. Risi, half Miller's size also got right back up and Thorold spanked them good. Now let's see, do they want to win or do they want to fight? You win with goals not fights.

Isn't it getting a little old and tired the comments about the Falls' goon tactics. Those are the same tactics Thorold used against Chatham last year during the Sutherland Cup. They ran that Maroons goalie every chance they got and exerted their larger size against them as well. So quit crying the blues about other teams when they are just as physical. If you don't like seeing your kid get nailed into the boards stay home. All the rough play evens out if you pay attention.

goon tactitics = running the goalie in a meaningless preseason game goontactics is also trying to chop of the wrist of an all star in a meaningless pre season game goon tactics is not winning the ontario championship at all costs. if u watched that series. both teams played extremely rough,

Good point. You would think that game was playoffs all over again (ending with a shutout). If they are going out to just hammer Thorold as they put it, then they are the ones who should quit hockey and join WWE.

First time I heard a Thorold fan admit, "BOTH team's played extremely rough". Well what do you know! They even take penalties, elbowing and slashing..... hard to believe.

That's right embellish a hit from behind. They were only 2 minute calls, however, still hit's from behind.
Hits were McKeown on Falzoi and Lazich on Spalling.

The Canucks added some grit and offensive power up front. However, once again they are big and slow on the back end. With an average goalie, there is no doubt the Canucks will be in the same predicament as last season.
Can anyone inform me, when the Canucks will finally realize that big, brute dman do not work in this league. Especially against the quick feet, quick transition, work the puck down low Thorold Blackhawks.
You will continue to see the same result, unless the Canucks at quick Dmen to their roster.

I don't think Duncan played last night, I think that was Mike Czaplicki, who I thought played well in 2nd half only allow 1 goal.

Rattie good young goalie, but needs more development. Should keep Czaplicki and possibly Duncan, while looking for anither goalie to come down from the OHL. Rattie should play Midget and AP to the Cannucks. Better for him to play more and continue to develop his game.

Everyone continues to hit him because that is the game of hockey. Any normal hockey player learns how to give/take a hit properly. Falzoi on the other hand is either to gutless/scared to take a good hit so he continues to turn his back and dive everytime he sees someone come to hit him. it's only a matter of time before he turns his back and ends up gettin seriously injured...and when that happens, I will have no sympathy for him.

What kind of remark is that. What about the guy that hits him. Then we have another Bertuzzi or Musselman who gets suspended indefinitely or forever.

|
|
Post by icer on Sept 16, 2005 14:07:26 GMT -5
Completely different situation...bertuzzi's attack was an a complete intent to injure. if falzoi continues to turn his back on everyone at the last second he will get injured..as I said its only a matter of time. You can't blame someone for trying to play the sport of hockey by executing a clean hit then getting turned on in the last second....that is not by any means an intent to injure...its his own fault.
