Didn't NF have two differnt hits from behind called. Does everyone in Thorold turn to draw the penalty. The refs make the calls on what they see, if they see a turn then they probably won't call it as such.

as far as cage versus visor, john falzoi and the blackhawks have nothing to prove. just because a player picks a cage over a visor has nothing to do with guts.i feel it is actually a good thing. every time falzoi or alot of the tougher guys in the league get into a fight the first thing they do is take the cage off. why take a stick in the face when it is the only way slower players can slow you down. its junior b hockey.why risk injury.a guy like risi would have a stick in his face all night.these tough guys fight without a cage and protect their eyes at the same time. smart hockey if you ask me.

I don't know how anyone can insult falzoi or risi or any of the hawks for that matter, the fact is they are sutherland cup champions, they have been in the big games and they are not going to worry about little petty arguments that include wearing a visor or a cage, on another note ive watched falzoi a long with many other vetarns on the hawks play from a long time, and i'll be the first to say falzoi has dished out one or two dirty shots in his time, but please don't accuse that individual of being scared of getting hit, chances are you'll end up on the ice yourself

I was watching game at the Fort tourny and i noticed that that when a player wore a visor the sticks didn't come up on him...When normal hockey player see a player with a visor he is less likely to get the stick up around his face...

Why are so many players on the hawks team wearing cages. When you have a team with cages play against a visor team it makes the game look bush league. How will the refs call the game. The team wearing the visors should be on pp alot more because anything to the head sticks etc. better be called. Already have seen players wearing cages using it to rub it into to visor wearing player. This visor thing is a joke i rather not see it but its a rule when teams like wheatfield and thorold go with cages and some teams don't it really makes the league look bush.

are you trying to tell me there is respect out there on the ice. we both know that is not true. most players yes there is, but some , no way. they would take your eye out if they could get away with it.

I think everyone was missing the point. Nobody said anyone was gutless for wearing a cage. He is gutless for not taking a hit like a man.

the league should have thought of that when they changed it.

According to an article in the Niagara Falls Paper a few weeks ago, most of the players will wear visors once the season starts. It mentioned that Risi said he will wear a visor during the regular season but did not want to risk injury in pre-season play.

The Stratford Cullitans have the entire team wearing screens or full face visors. No questions, it is the team rule and if you want to play for them then you need to wear it.
This is from on of the top organizations in Ontario.
They must have somthing here?
