Developing Players

It seems to me that to make it on to the next level, welland is the ideal place to play minor hockey.
Todd Griffith- Kingston
Paul Bissonette- Pittsburgh NHL
Jamie Tardif- Peterboro OHL
Derek Brochu- Owen Sound OHL
Payton Liske- Owen Sound OHL
Nathan Martine- Barrie OHL
Daniel Girardi- London OHL
Justin Suda- Kinston OHL
Niagara Falls
Ryan Berard- Belleville OHL
Gary Friesen- Oshawa OHL
Andrew Marshall- Barrie OHL
St.Catharines
Jamie Heywood- Sarnia OHL
If population had anything to do with it then these numbers would be in reverse order.

facts are facts but why are you not mentioning college and university scholarships??.Maybe and I mean just maybe the scale would match the population.

Well if you look at the OHL Scout for this region and see who he hung out with then you know why so many Welland kids ,,,Add Daryl Smith to that list also. Oh Yes Andre Roy.. Actually did picture layout for the Welland kids with Mr Tardiff...

Add Clutterbuck to that list as well, under 17, under 18 possible captain next year of Oshawa

If you want scholarships, it has to be to good d1 schools.
