I was curious as to how the Wheatfield Blades made out against Fort Erie last night. Can anyone give a brief report on the game.

Wheatfield had 2 guys playing tonite against whoever they were playing wearing jersey #8 and #15....small but very quick n good players! Fort Erie murdered south jersey like 13-0 and mike kusy dangled every guy on the team n got 4 goals!! Amazing small player this guy is!

I wouldn't call Fort Erie beating South Jersey Murder, They did not have a full team, do to the bus having trouble's and not making it in time for the game.

lol did you seriously just say that mike kusy is an amazing little player for having a agame like that against south jersey, FE was playing against a team of about 8 players that were probably at most 15 or 16 years old, it was absolutely rediculous 4 goals is nothing in a game like that, its actually pathetic. At some points in the game south jersey wasn't penalized but could only put 4 guys on the ice cause the poor kids were so (edit) tired from having to take 4 and 5 minute shifts, Fort Erie was pathetic too, they were giving it their all to the whole game and could only score 13 or 14 goals, good for kusy scoring 4 goals that means he went about 4 for 18 on his scoring chances, AnOn give your head a shake FE has no amazing players they have the same team they had last year that finished dead last and was absolutely terrible, lol just wait till fort erie gets out of their rigged division that they put themselves in and they have to play a good team and just get pumped about 10-0, then we'll see how amazing the meteors are lol.

To rediculous I don't think Ft Erie is going to be the pushover you think their going to be this year. They have a real young team and from what I saw work pretty hard. I think they gained a lot of respect this weekend. They went toe to toe with the " mighty canucks", took them to double OT before losing on a tough break in a game that they could have won. These young guys will only get better by the expierience their gaining by playing and not sitting on somebody' s bench for a year or two. Way to go Fort Erie....

lol the only reason fort erie even got the chance to get to the semi's where the canucks were is because they put themselves in an awful division that they barely got out of, they will again be the bottom feeder of the league and get pounded by thorold, NF and st.kitts every time they play, if anything they lost respect from people by the advantages they try to give themselves, i would agree with you in saying they earned some respect if they put themselves with team like thorold or st.kitts or the canucks or even port or welland lol but they gave themselves wheatfield and two terrible american jr.B teams which gives them no respect at all, advancing from that division is nothing to be proud of.

In the best interest of the tournament, the GHL made Tony switch the semi final format.
It would have been a huge embarrassment, if Ft.Erie made it to the Final.
If Tony could have had it his way, he would have had Fort vs. Port and NFalls vs the Might Hawks.

It was changed because the Falcons and their midgets didn't make it to the finals. And if the Falcons don't win who cares who does. By the way ,did they set a new attendance record for the final game. I heard they had a big crowd for that game, 78 people were there

You are close. The 78 people you saw were scouts. Don't know the attendance of the fans.

Fort Erie looks like they have some good goaltenders in camp. If they were smart they would trade Menard back to his hometown of Welland (looks like they may be in need) and keep #30 Keller and #29 Geoffroy. Menard wasn't too strong last year and confidence in your goaltenders can make a huge difference! Might not happen though as Coach Groulx and Menard's Dad are buddies. Should happen, but will smart heads prevail?

The guy from Oakville is Jeff Amadio and he played in the GTHL last year. He wasn't able to stick with the Oakville team as he is not physically strong enough yet. He has great potential and is a good skater, but he will need time to be a good competent Junior B defenceman. This is not what Fort Erie needs although he will probably be their best player. I watched Fort Erie play Wheatfield. Right now a good Juvenile team could have beaten either one of them. Perhaps in a couple of years Fort Erie may be able to compete. There is a good chance they will lose Rylands and when that happens they will be in major league trouble.

I thought somebody said Jeff Amadio signed with the OHL in Windsor? This kid is an '89, watched him play when he was in St. Catharines. One tournament in Hamilton gave away the puck in front of his own net. St. Cath wa on a power play. Other team scored short handed. He was mad ,so un-wisely chose to break his stick over the goalies net and then took another penalty. Other team scored again and whole momentum of the game went to the other team. St. Cath was winning before these actions but of course lost due to Amadio's actions. Fort Erie true story, you better hope this kid has less give aways and has become more disciplined!! BE CAREFUL!

i feel i have solved your problem. as suggested by my log in there is TWO people using the name observer.unless i am a split personality and dont know it we seem to have a problem. i will have to come up with a new username but it will be hard to beat csi niagara!!!!!!!!!

Actually if you register with the username, then no one else can register that name. When you don't register the name, anyone can use it. Thus the problem of two people using the same name.
