For all concerned. Rob Hubbert has resigned due to family issues and with that cannot commit 100% of his time to the club. He is going to stay on with the club as a scout. Please do not start any rumours until all facts are known.

at this point i would like to thank everyone for their support while i was involved in the league fans and players and the media for their great support of the league. I hope all the teams and fans of this league respect each other and move forward and have a great season. I only wish the best to all teams and players. Thank you Rob Hubbert.

kevin , i know this is your web site and you have the right to call the shots. having said that i feel you are walking a fine line telling us we cannot talk about the hubbard situation. a coach has resigned, got fired, quit whatever and these type of sites are for exactly this sort of situation. please continue to delete all stupid comments and personal attacks but there is more to this than meets the eye. as a fan of the ghl and a user of this site i feel you have crossed the line.

who are you to say that everyone should know everything about rob hubbert's situation, obviously its a personal situation or else you'd know everything about the situation. you are absolutely unbelievable to say that other people have crossed the line , that is absolutely rediculous your ignorance is unbelievable, its a personal situation that you don't deserve to know anything about, and for you to make posts like the ones you have previously made with acqusitions of things being fishy or there's more to the situation is just rediculous, leave the issue alone its a personal thing with rob hubbert and and the management of port colborne it has nothing to do with noisy fans like yourself.

i happen to be a fan of rob hubbard. i enjoy his radio show and have admired him from afar for his brashness and telling it like it is. he has to be politacally correct in public but he does stand on his merits and sometimes this gets him in trouble. i wish him the best of luck and even though i do not know him personally. i do admire him for the person he is.

Rob Hubbert resigned because he could not co-exist with Tim Toffolo. Tim would not allow Rob to coach the team without his personal input into personnel decisions. That's Toffolo's rite because he owns the team but Rob felt hamstrung by the situation. The health of his mother obviously compounded the problem. They lost a good man but like Billy Martin, Rob Hubbert will live again and he will be reincarnated soon.

Thank you for your input. The reason why this subject is banned is that there is a family issue involved here. To be fair to Rob and his family, I feel that we should all respect their privacy. Had this been a hockey only issue, like always comments on this subject would be allowed. Having said that, please keep in mind that if anyone asks me to erase a comment about themselves, I will erase it as I want to respect everyone's right to privacy. However, I feel obligated to mention that at no time has Rob or anyone from the Port Colborne Sailors requested that comments regarding this subject be banned. The ban was imposed by myself as I feel that this forum is not the proper place to discuss personal issues. Thank-you for your cooperation. |
