I told you before, Port won't have ane actual hockey players until Thorold, Nia. Falls and St. Kitts make their final cuts. Take that to the Bank.

Why would anyone start this rumor about Hubbert unless you have some facts, otherwise there is no trurth to this rumor. Get the facts not rumors.

For all concerned. Rob Hubbert has resigned due to family issues and with that cannot commit 100% of his time to the club. He is going to stay on with the club as a scout. Please do not start any rumours until all facts are known.

if the club came out with a statement before the rumour mill started it would benefit everyone.

Please do not start any rumours until all facts are known. sounds like a pretty generic statement to appease the masses. his resignation doesn't have anything to do with their goalie situation, does it? ?why would hubbert suddenly leave after recruiting several players??if we are to know the facts, who is going to tell them to us?? something smells fishy here.........

Actually there is nothing fishy here. He left due to a family situation. At this time, I am requesting that we do not talk about this subject further, as I believe Rob is entitled to his privacy at this time. Any further posts regarding this subject will be deleted. Thanks

I thought that line of kilcar, stevenson and aucoin looked pretty weak defensively early on. They were getting dominated in their own end. They came on strong in the latter part of the third. The big line for the Falcons was Petro, Chummer and Potter. They were dominant. If they could find someone to play with Petro and Chummer, they may have the most dominant line in the shoe. ( with apologies to Risi's line in Thorold)

Didn't see the game last night but I would think that a line with kilcar, stevenson and aucoin would be fast but wouldn't win many battles in the corners as all 3 of these guys are small.
Petro, Chummer and Potter looks like a good combination but I would also like to see how Petro, Chummer and Shaw look together.
I've noticed that Cole often puts players that shoot left on right wing and players that shoot right on left wing. Maybe I'm too much of a traditionalist, but I think that makes for an ackward line. (For instance, last year didn't Mike Chmieleski play left wing for most of the year)
Or are the kids these days use to playing on the off-wing.

Looks like the falcons will have lots of offensive this year.. Nice to see Aucoin put some in he had lots of chances last Friday in St kitts..Chummer and Petro line looking real good..Its only exibition but good to see things starting to take shape..I like the looks of our defence but would like to see them get another top end D man.Nothing to say about tenders, with Hall back pretty solid ...Can't wait for the season to start//

some kids like the opposite wing but some dont. it takes time to get used to .i feel it is a disadvantage to make the player turn toward the boards to get the puck and time consuming. better angle to the net on some shots is not enough.

To Interested Guest ...You say the line of kilcar and aucoin and stevenson looked weak defensively . From what i seen in the game they were not scored on in the game...aucoin with 4 goals the line played well a plus 4 when your team gave up 5 goals ...Sounds like you are not a fan of these guys.Keep working hard guys don't listen to guys like that .You guys have a lot of hockey left Kilcar has 4 years left and aucoin and stevenson have 3...

not a fan of these guys? why do you say that? an honest criticism,or review if you will, means i don't like someone? I personally coached kilcar for 2 years, and despite that, he went on to become a real player. i found him to be the consummate team player, a leader if there ever was one.but, truth be told, their line was getting handled in their defensive zone, regardless if they did not get scored upon.they scored their goals in the third period(correct me if i'm wrong) and it wasn't until then that they looked good. just my 2 pennies worth.........
