All in all, a good game. Thorold came out slow, yet again but managed to pull things together in the end. Port looked lost the entire game, but still managed to keep Thorold on their heels... Falzoi's center ice battle was well worth the 1.37/liter trip to Port.
Any thoughts on the rookies that played tonight? Where has Joey Martin been.... did he get hurt?

Port's first goalie was awesome but a bit sensitive to the hacking away at the puck. Sinisac was terrible. Is he the starter??????? Hawks first goalie was good and Miller was back in form allowing 1 in 2 periods. Port was the same as last year, just there to fight.

martin has a sore shoulder. where is bishop. someone in thorold really wants #10 to make this team. he is on the ice constantly alongside guys like risi smud and falzoi for the last three games.he is a cut from st. kitts

i loved what i saw last night from the hawks, they had no quit, smud was dangerous all night and look for falzoi to be easily the best all around player in the league this year, the hawks will have a good team again, the league will be fun to watch

spaling is going to have a major impact this year. only saw a warmup and two shifts but can still tell. what a find for thorold. as for rookies #35 on defence was awesome. two goals with great shots from point.#6 a big left winger that can skate.

Not sure who #6 was either, he has played in quit a few exhibition games and has a great set of hands! probably not the type to get you 30 goals, but looks like a guy who could set someone up for 50.
