Falcons won this one 5-2. Actually it was a boring game, very little hitting, both teams looked scrambling at times.
I woundn't say anyone really stood out. Falcons defence looked solid, especially Scott Levitt, Trevor Dandridge and Jamie Heywood. Secord also played his usual solid game.
Up front, Dahms, Petriello, and Chiemewski looked good. But what surprised me most was that Shaw and Jesse Karr really looked much improved over last year and midget Danny Ziraldo looked like a veteran.
Blinkhorn and Kilcar sat this one out as did a couple of their new defencemen.
I think the Falcons will have 4 very strong lines this year

Not bad considering the Falcons had 15 returnees in the lineup and the sailors had 3.With that kind of unbalance in the lineup, it should ahve been a 10 goal spread. As far as I seen guys like Dahms(except for a big hit) and Shaw a supposed tough guy were invisible. In fact, I heard people in the crowd asking where Dahms was. If Port had a goaltender in the first half of the game, they would have won the game.Where was the big, new recruit Stevenson????Just Curious!!!! Watch out for Welland this year!!!!!!!!!!!! Where was Chummer tonight??? He was a tough gut with all those 16 year olds that Port had in the lineup?

Was waiting for the Port excuses...Where were the tough Lord boys..Wearing bird cages and chirping... Most of those guys are singned players that played..You only had three returning players because that is about all who wanted to return..Now for the truth. Port was outshot something like 53 to 17 i wouldn't blame your tenders.. As for the Falcon's Ziraldo looked good agreed but Karr didn't look much better then last year big guy no hands but drives the net well. The Falcon defence looked like they all wanted to play the wing tonight all over the place .They jumped in the play away too much,if they were playing a good team i.e. Thorold, Niagara Falls it would have cost them . Seems that St Kitts is loaded with offence though ..From what i seen last night if the Falcon's want to win the GHL they need at least one top end D-man..With all that offence i would be looking for Smoke to make a deal.

If Port had...If Port Had....all you guys do is cry because you don't have.
You didn't notice Dahms or Shaw? Did you have blinkers on. They were the two guys EVERY Port player skated miles to avoid.
You are and will remain a second division team in this league.

I watched the Falcons practice twice last week and it appears Cole sat his best 2 defenseman the 1 being the big guy from out west and Blinkhorn and Kilcar all very good players at this level. ??

Yes seen him play the other night he had a good game lots of chances..I asked someone from the Falcon's one of the guys that you see helping all the time.. He said he met with smoke then decided not to go...He may have talked to La Forge also who is now on Defence for the Falcons who came from that league..I heard its a lot of Traveling.

Must not be a serious player if hes not willing to travel, most higher level leagues have to travel.

Must not be a serious player if hes not willing to travel, most higher level leagues have to travel. I wouldn't say the tier 2 league out west is a higher league. 3/4 of the GHL players could make a team out west. I think its better for players to stay here, as opposed to going out west and missing 30 days of school to play in a league that is only marginally better than the GHL.
