obviously a typo, says 2005 at the top and Thursday & Friday. Scheduler probably cut & pasted from previous years. I use those short cuts all the time, sometimes you can miss something though.

I understand fort erie ihosts team this tournament, and that they would love nothing better than to be in the showcase final. But why do they always place themselves in the weakest division? ?? I find this tournament somewhat of a anti climax as the semifinal game between the B and C division is the most entertaining. ;D the only thing more entertaining is when fort erie doesn't make it out of the round robin portion. Tony, make a note for next year. Instead of placing your team in the weakest division so they can advance, try improving the calibre of hockey the kids play so they can advance on their own merrit

Have you ever been involved in hosting a tournament? Many minor hockey associations host tournaments, and the perk of hosting is scheduling the best times for your home team. It is a no brainer. Why would the home team give themselves the worst times and toughest competition? It happens all the time, look around!

Got to agree with that last post...You hit it right on the mark, tourny set up is a joke, everything is slanted to get F.E. to the final

How do you people know what the teams from Jersey, Boston. Washington, etc. are even going to be like? Stop making assumptions before the tournament starts. If you like hockey, support all the kids! That's what it is all about, supporting our local sports and kids, no matter what community you may be from.

How do you people know what the teams from Jersey, Boston. Washington, etc. are even going to be like? Sorry for being so closed minded, just going on past experiences with these teams. Maybe you haven't been to this tourney before, but once you attend you will realize. I give credit to the american teams, the only way to improve yourselves is by playing better teams. You learn new techniques and find out where your shortfalls are, the key is realizing this and making the appropriate improvements.

Peace Bridge: Glad to see your positve tone! Keep it up! All the kids need our support. It is always easier playing for a team that wins all the time. Sometimes it takes more character when your playing for a struggling team and you don't jump ship!
