yea risi wil be captain but look for smud to be the outspoken leader of the team. he will definitely wearing an A on his sweater and it is well deserved. Risi is a 5 yr man and deserves the C. he s the heart and soul but smud will be the leader. Maybe split the C?  |

How could you possibly say smud is a better player
Risi is a much better player - by far and never toots
his own horn like smud does.
No Brainer - Risi for Captain - He leads where it counts
on the ice.

risi and falzoi are the true leaders of the team, don't say much but lead by example, and zmud is a great leader verbally as well, no doubt about that

Risi for captain of Thorold all the way. He is the true leader not Falzoi, who as I recall had one of the worst +/- rating on the team last year. A good Sutherland cup Final does not make up for an average year. Falzoi has never been a consistent player or leader. Risi was in every game.

Risi is the captain and a well deserved one, and if you really knew anything about hockey, you would know that there was not 1 player on the Hawks last year in the minus category when regarding plus/minus totals. It's been a treat to watch John play and to have him and Risi plus some of the other better players (zmudsinsky, miller,bishop, etc) back on the hawks again will be evern better
