SEPTEMBER 8, 9, 10 + 11th 2005
The tournament will be held in one location, the Sport Complex in Fort Erie, Ontario
Each team will play a minimum of three games with three 15 minute periods.

All Golden Horseshoe Jr. B teams have confirmed their participation in the tournament.
The tournament is an ideal opportunity for teams to finalize their lineups prior
to the 2005 - 2006 regular season.

just probably alot of the same teams as usual! Now with wheatfield, you'll have your normal 8 GHL teams + probably "New York Applecore", "North York Rangers", "Boston Bulldogs", "Rochester Americans"

just teams that com every year!

Would it be a better tournament if it was held when the teams were finalized and you had a format like Tier2 College Weekend.Invite the scouts from the OHL ..and universities.. play one game that would count in the standings like they do in Tier2..Invite the teams from the West and Midwest....I don't think any team picks their team on what happens in this tournament ..

That would be an awesome way of doing it but i must say..a couple teams do use this tourny as a time for players to shine!! And just for the record, ohl scouts and university scouts are there...see scouts from american universitys plus scout from ottawa 67's, belleville bulls, sudbury wolves, oshawa generals and more very stinking year!

THEY SHOULD MAKE IT THAT EVRY TEAM IN THE OHA JUNIOR B SHOULD B THERE LIKE THE WESTERN JRB MIDWESTERN JRB AND GOLDEN HORSESHOE AND PLAY IT IN 4 ARENA LIKE FORT ERIE NIAGARA FALLS THOROLD AND ST CATS AND HAVE 6 DIVISON SO IT HAS TEAMING TEAM THAT HASNT PLAY TEAM B4 LIKE SARNIA VS PORT COLBORNE OR TECUMSEH VS ORANGEVILLE

any chance on getting a schedule posted for the tourny in fort erie? kids and parents alike would like to know.

The league will be forwarding me a schedule. When I get it I will post it. The league website will also probably have the tournament schedule when it is finalized.
