Congrats to Daultan, Falcons forward picked 29th overall by the Atlanta Thrashers at the NHL's entry draft Friday night at Ottawa. It is believed he is the first St. Catharines Jr. 'B' Falcons player to be drafted directly to the NHL. Leveille played his entire junior career in St. Catharines. He is the ninth 1st round draft pick for the Michigan State Spartans, where he will be heading this fall to play hockey and go to school. Congratulations once again Daultan! A great achievement for a great player of the game. www.stcatharinesfalcons.com

First let me congratulate Daulton on his selection. He can quit hockey now and have done something most kids only dream about. However, Scout is 100% wrong about people eating their words. The debate will now rage on. Is this kid that good? Can he bring the rest of his game up to the level of an NHL player, or has this been all hype? Until he actually does prove this at some of the higher levels he is just a face in a crystal ball. It is funny that this type of comment is seen as blasphemous and Leveille supporters on here want to shout people down. Great accomplishment, but NHL player worthy of 1st round pick - we will have to wait and see.

Now that Daultan has been selected in the first round, will he continue to head to Michigan State or will he go the OHL route. I would wonder if Atlanta would push him in the OHL direction. I'm sure there is someone here that knows him and may know his thoughts on this. Just curious.

Last two Picks of the Draft GHL players 1 former and 1 current. Awesome job fellas and best of luck in the future. ANy players from the OP get drafted in the first round? Just another example of the talent that does pass through the GHL. Keep up the great work.

Hey Bud I was simply stating that its great exposure for the league 3 game or thirty he still played there. He should have been there that whole year, but it has appeared to work out I'd say (BUD)

If you mean OP the tier 2 league in Ontario.... No. Pick # 16 in the first round went to Boston and they chose a tier 2 player from Camrose of the Alberta tier 2 league. Nice seeing the region represented with Leveille and Pieterangelo.
