Congrats to Andrew for being named Jr. C player of the year! His contribution to the Riverhawks the past 3 seasons, has been fantastic. Here is a kid who was cut by Mr. Cole 3 years ago, who said, "his ability was not good enough to make the Falcons", and went on to prove how wrong and inept Mr. Cole's assessment was. We all know what has happened to Mr. Cole! He was cut by the Falcons too! But that's another topic. Again, congrats Andrew!

Better get the facts straight sportsgal. Don't believe Cole was coaching when they let McKenzie go, my nephew was cut around the same time and I think it was the current coach that didn't want to keep him. He turned into a real nice player!

Mckenzie is a great kid unfortunately every kid in St. Catharines can't play for the Falcons contrary to what every parent in the Garden City thinks. Remember how well they did a few years ago with all St. Kitts kids. Sportsgal needs to be happy for Mac a great run in Chippawa. Big difference between B and C. Good luck Andrew you area class act.

Cole was the coach who let McKenzie go. He's just one of a long list of local players who Cole overlooked or didn't give a chance to who went on to have pretty good seasons with other Jr. teams, especialy Thorold.
