I heard from two different source today the Hawks have lost one of their owners.... Mike Gualtiere has sold his share in the team to a unknown new owner.... family consideration was the reason...
Also the Hawks have moved their home night to Wed. to avoid the Ice Dogs.....
One last thing ... what is up with their web site... looks like it has been taken over by someone or thing... all that is on there is a place to buy baseball tickets...

I just went on the Hawks website and there is no problem with it. Maybe you are not typing in the right address. Try www.thoroldblackhawks.org It just worked for me.

If there is a coaching change, it should be either Bolibruck or Giles, the two assistants from this championship season. Bolibruck is the more experienced from being in the league 3 years. Giles has one year of Jr. B. experience and seems to be more of a head coach than Bolibruck. He has also won at every level from minor hockey and high school and now the GHL. Only time will tell, either one would be a good choice. Some say that if Giles doesn't get it, he will follow Hubbert and the Hawks will need to replace both of them.
