Ceccanese has been guaranteed a spot with the Ice Dogs, Ryan Wiley has been signed by Brampton, Bessonov and Andrews must make the Dogs or they will be back in Jr. B with St. Catharines and Thorold respectively. Floris is looking to play somewhere else next year, possibly Georgetown as they are trying to recruit heavily in the GHL this summer. I am also hearing that Koudys wants to move back to Thorold from Burlington next year. Kilcar is moving from Guelph University and is playing at Buffalo State College.

Steckley will not be returning to Fort Erie he will either stick with Guelph or play for Hamilton. It has also been rumoured that Letwin is on his way to Hamilton as well. As for the IceDogs prospects, Andrews signed earlier in the season, and Ceccanese may have signed as well. Bessenov has not signed a contract. Fairgraive may also be making the jump to the O if his rights are traded from Windsor as they are loaded with talent next season. Mclean and Wiley are both drafted by teams but neither have signed.

good point legendz, but i think that everyone knows fort erie is important to the league and the area. look how many players have been passed on by other teams, then develop in fort erie and move on to bigger things?

Wiley signed with Brampton last week. Andrews and Bessonov may have signed with the Ice Dogs earlier in the year, but neither of them have been guaranteed spots. They may be back in Jr. B again next year for another year of much needed seasoning. Both were 3rd or 4th liners in Jr. B. this year. Ceccanese has been guaranteed a spot with the Dogs.

Wiley signed with Brampton last week
Even though he signed with Brampton, he has to make the squad. The same as any other players in Jr. B, Provincial Jr. A or any other league.

They sign kids to lock them up for another 2 years, to eliminate their NCAA eligibility and to prevent them from reentering the draft, essentially it means they keep his rights. From what ive heard, Borgatti to Hamilton, Minor to Orangeville.

i highly doubt minor would leave the GHL for a doormat tier 2 team

--Word is that Minor wants out of Port also. However his plans are to remain in the GHL. Could end up in Niagara Falls.--

Seems like port is losing alot of their players... anyone know for sure where their younger players are going? i.e Sirignano, Williamson, Difruscio, Wiley, Lavioe, tanguay, and baker?
