You almost have to wonder if The Chiefs chose thier opponent for the Suthy Finals??? maybe they took a fall against Elmira on Saturday Night!!

I don't think Tecumseh took a fall against anybody. They are clearly the best team of the three, so I don't think they were particulary worried if they played Thorold or Elmira in the final. I think the Chiefs will take home the Sutherland Cup in five games because Elmira will probably pull out one win in their sardine-can of an arena.

Fall or Not---- I believe that the Round Robin allows the stronger team out of three to dictate who they can eventually play---- Too many scenerios are possible with dominance by one team and 2 others---- Do we like playing in small arena?  ??----- Do we like playing on a bigger ice surface to take advantage of our speed---- Do we want to travel that far for the weaker competition? ?----on and on!!!!!!!!!! Just my thoughts!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Who will coach in Thorold next year? Looks like Hubbert is on the way out. Players were playing for themselves, not for him!!!!!!!!!!!! Good bye Hubbert!!!!!!!!!!

I think Thorold had the horses but there were too many banged up bodies from the Falcons series, no excuses but all in all a good year just to get there.Well done and a good season for the Golden Horseshoe!Till next year!

hawks had no energy after the long series vs the falcons..... it showed all round robin long with the injuries piling up
