Had to laugh when I read the quotes in the St. Catharines Standard regarding tonight's hockey game in Thorold.
From Bill Potrecz: "Thorold has dropped the first two games of the Sutherland Cup round-robin series and would be ALL BUT eliminated from advancing to the best-of-seven final should they lose tonight."
From Rob Hubbert: "If we lose we're PROBABLY out, but it's not over yet. It's far from over."
Face the facts boys. Thorold WILL BE eliminated if they lose tonight against Elmira, no ifs or ands about it. It would also make the final game (with a LONG bus trip) against Tecumseh meaningless for Thorold. Here's hoping they can come up with a win!!!
