Well what are everyone's thoughts? I think for Thorold to win, they have to get scoring out of Bellows ,Davidson ,an Aucion.. Bellows has only 2 goals in his last 9 games one in the Round robin.. Davidson 3 goals in last 9 none in Round robin..Aucoin had 6 against his old Falcon team ,but none in the Round robin..If these three aren't your best players its over... Dickson has been scoring and is going to be a player to watch in this league for the next few season, although he has to be a lot better on the defensive side of his game...They could really use Ward back on defence,if he can' walk i would play him, they have some D playing 18 minutes that should only be playing around 8..Goaltending!If Scarcella can pull a little more magic out if his season they will have a chance.. In closing from a Falcon fan although i spend more time in the OPJHL i love this GHL,and wish you guys the best.In a round robin you are still very much alive ,win the next two see what happens...I would like nothing better with the icedogs gone to watch a little more hockey in the shoe..

You are so right hockeydoc.....they are giving up way to many shots, forwards are going to have to take controll of the offensive end, and D is going to have to strengthen its posture, keep shooters outside....I bet you see Ward back in line up , but look for Hubbs to shake things up a bit , you may see Marcus back in net....not because Scarsella isnt capable, but just to shake things up.

I know on Friday everyone was shouting for anyone that had the puck to shoot more. Desire didn't seem to be there on Friday out of those three. Bellows walked to the changeroom during one of the periods on Friday, so I have to wonder if he is injured or if he is just soft. The other two have no speed. Was not able to go to Sunday's game. How did those three play there? What about a switch of forwards in the line up to shake things up.

Kingston are you suggesting taking one of those three out of the line-up? I don't know about Bellows ,but i know for a fact Aucion has been playing injured for sometime now.I said they have to be the best players,i wouldn't suggest taking any out of the line-up..At 80% they are still the best three the Hawks have..Maybe its time some of the younger stars step up besides Dickson.Every team needs secondary scoring ....It would be great news for Thorold if Ward can go..scouts..I don't know about the Tender situation thats a tough call ..You can look like a genius or an idiot on that call ..Im glad i just do scouting reports, don't have to make those decissions..

Hoping like an idiot lol, I feel better with Scarsella to be honest, Marcus hasnt had a lot of playing time in the past three months, but we all know Hubbs!!!! may try to shake things up a bit , its a must win situation for the Blackhawks.

Haha, no not those three. Despite their lack of intensity, and my frustration of watching them, they are still more likely to put the puck in the net. I was thinking a smaller shake-up. I'm sure either Radford or even Forgione would go out flying in there first shift of the play-offs, maybe give the rest of the players a boost. Defelice or Andrews are really the only players you could take out though.
I also feel better with Scarsella, the playing time Marcus has had hasn't been promising.

Didn't see the last game in Elmira but I'm told that the Thorold coaching staff only played 2 lines for most of the game. If that was the case, Thorold will exit quickly. During all the previous series 4 lines took part in winning. Thorold is deep with role players on the 3rd & 4th line. They have been known to put a few pucks in the net too. Win as a team or loose individually?? By the way Scarsella is the MAN. He got thorold THERE. So did the 3rd & 4th liners. good luck Friday. I hope to be there.

They used three lines for most of the game, not two. Then again, they were killing penalties alot, and maybe didn't have enough opportunity to get the fourth line out there. Thorold was in this game for the first five minutes and then Elmira woke up and took it to them for the rest of the game. Thorold has alot of work to do to get back in this series.
