Thorold lacked a killer instinct in the GHL finals which allowed the Falcons back in the series. Now with little playoff experience at this level the team looks lost. A small rink like Elmira should play into Thorolds hand, but maybe the lack of corners in the Elmira rink has baffled the Hawks as this is where they spend most of their time with the puck.
Thorold is showing no urgency, unless they saw the long range weather and want to start out at Beechwood this week.
