On the OHL website, there's a poll asking who is the MVP so far. Luca Caputi of our very own Niagara IceDogs is one of the choices. Let's show him and our Icedogs some support, so take the time and go vote!! Here's the link... (the poll is in the bottom right quadrant) www.ontariohockeyleague.com/hm/

Id rather vote for Pietrangelo or Dahm then Caputi. Ive seen him play he can score but a bit of a cheap shot artist. No way he is better then Stamkos or most of the others.

You are entitled to your opinion. In agree that Pietrangelo is also a good choice. When the poll came out, Dahm had played a whole 5 games for us. Tough to have him as the MVP to that date, although he could prove to be our guy in the long run (playoffs). There are others in the league who are very deserving, and perhaps more so than Luca, but the poll is for the fans and is unofficial. I see it as more of a competition to see who has the best fans in the league by voting for their own guy. And I assume that most readers on this forum to be IceDogs fans. So as a fan of the IceDogs, I would encourage all readers who may also be Dog fans, to go and vote for Caputi.

I voted Caputi. He's provided a lot of the Dogs offence the last couple weeks. They'd miss his touch around the net and got Merrett going. I measure it by how much a team is affected when a player is missing. Dahm would be huge also. Peitrangelo, not so much. Don't get me wrong he's a great player, but not the impact player all the buzz is about. I'll be anxious to see how he stands out next year. For now Caputi's the man... easy to vote.

I voted for Caputi anyways, cause he is a icedog, just feel Pietrangelo doesnt get more respect. He could have been on that Canada junior team. He really controls the game and will be missed next year. I know Dahm is new but what a addition, a couple of weeks ago a lot of ppl thought they blew it getting him, but he is a game stealer.

Pietrangelo will be a top 5 draft pick this summer, but he's not ready for the tough going of the NHL. Goaltending and defense are the toughest positions to crack the lineup. He had some obvious giveaways first couple months, which was probably why he wasn't invited to junior team camp. He should be back with the Icedogs next year and have a real breakout year.
