The Niagara IceDogs are looking to close out the year in style and they have their newest Season Ticket Holder and local supporter to thank for it. Thanks to Bob Gale and Gales Fuels, Hot Dog and Pepsi combos will be available for only a $1 donation at the next IceDogs home game on Sunday, December 30th when they take on the defending Eastern Conference Champion Sudbury Wolves. All proceeds from this event will then be donated to Project S.H.A.R.E. in Niagara Falls and Community Care in St. Catharines. Puck drop is scheduled for 2pm with doors opening one hour before.
In addition, Mr. Gale has invited Crazy Claude - The Trumpeter to entertain the crowd throughout the game. Crazy Claude is best known for his antics at Quebec Nordiques games in the past, but local fans might remember him from a couple stops in Niagara Falls while the Thunder were in town. A legend throughout professional and semi-pro hockey, Crazy Claude has developed an ability to use nothing more then his trumpet and personal showmanship to entertain crowds throughout North America while also getting under the skin of the opposing team.
"When Bob Gale approached us with his ideas it seemed like a natural fit" said IceDogs Owner Bill Burke. "The $1 combos will be a great holiday treat for our fans, but most importantly all proceeds will go towards two tremendous local organizations who have been working very diligently to help those in need throughout the Christmas season."
Please note that the IceDogs office will be closed until Thursday, December 27th. Tickets for this and all future Regular Season games can still be purchased from the Customer Service Desk at the Pen Centre, via Ticketmaster or at the Gatorade Garden City Complex Box Office on game days.
