For me, this game was the ideal game. Big crowd (2700+), warm arena, and an OT win. Too bad they couldn't all be like this.

Agree with the temp and crowd, but I thought the game was missing was some big hits and a fight or two  Pietrangelo didn't show much tonight. Don't get me wrong, he didn't play poorly, but I brought my bro-in-law to his first game of the year and told him #10 was a potential top three in the NHL draft and he sure didn't do anything to stand out. What didn't help was lack of icetime. Maione and VanLaren seemed to get as much icetime. Sorry about bitchin' about nuthin' I guess, but I still thought the pace was a lttle slower than usual... Great to have a win against the conference leaders! |

he may not have shown too much.. but when he takes the puck on the rush, he looks so in control and smooth , can skate circles around guys
he is a solid player
