Hello IceDogs Fans
I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the season up to this point.
Even though the past couple weeks have been a little rough, it has been very
encouraging around these parts to watch some of our banged up players return
to the ice for practice. Everyone is looking forward to seeing some
reinforcements in place by this weekend.
My reason for writing is two-fold. First off, I wanted to give everyone
advance notice on the introduction of our IceDogs Holiday Packs. The
perfect little gift for family, friends, neighbours and hockey fans in
general. An IceDogs Holiday Pack will include:
- 6 End Zone ticket vouchers (redeemable for any remaining regular season
home game)
- IceDogs Program
- IceDogs license plate cover (or an IceDogs hat for season ticket holders)
- Window Cling
- Pen Topper
- Pom-pom
- Temporary Tattoo
- Team Pennant
- OHL Prospect Magazine
- Pocket Schedule
The cost of the package is $99 and will be available through the Holiday
season. To help promote this great offer, we are also offering a special
early bird opportunity in which one lucky purchaser will win a pair of
tickets to the Toronto Maple Leafs home game on Saturday, December 1st when
they take on Sidney Crosby and the Pittsburgh Penguins. The tickets will be
drawn during the IceDogs home game on Thursday, November 29th and anyone who
purchases a Holiday Pack prior to the 2nd intermission will be automatically
entered into this early bird draw. These packages will be available
immediately through the IceDogs office or during IceDogs home games at the
Booster Club table in the South Concourse.
In addition, we are requesting your assistance in helping us boost our
season tickets. While our attendance has been strong and we have received
tremendous support up to this point in the season, we don't see that as any
reason to stop working towards growing our numbers. Our goal is to have one
of the biggest and best crowds in the OHL and with your continued support
that's a very likely possibility. As a result, we have put together a
half-season package for those fans still looking to get into the action.
Starting immediately, fans will have the opportunity to purchase a seat to
all remaining home games at the discounted rate of half a season ticket
(i.e. $264.47 for premium seating or $251.75 for end seating; taxes
included). All new season ticket holders will also still receive the full
list of benefits associated with signing up for season tickets, including:
- Guaranteed reserve seating for all remaining IceDogs Home Games
- Invitation to exclusive Season Ticket Holder events during the season
- First choice on your seat and opportunity to purchase additional seats for
the 2008 OHL playoffs before the public
- Opportunity to renew your season seat for the 2008-09 season before
tickets go on sale to the public
- Private Season Ticket Holder entrances on game nights
In appreciation for your support we have created a new referral program that
will run from now until Thursday, January 17th. The way the referral
program works is for every person you recommend who purchases a season
ticket for the remainder of the 2007-08 IceDogs season, your name will be
entered into a draw. At our January 17th home game vs the Sault St. Marie
Greyhounds, we will then pull a name and one lucky person will win two Air
Canada Club level tickets to the Toronto Maple Leafs home game on January
19th versus the Buffalo Sabres. Included with the tickets will be a free
limo which will take you from your home to the game and back again. Not to
be outdone, anyone who purchases a season ticket between now and then will
also be entered into the draw, so if anyone would like to refer themselves
and add seats you are essentially doubling your chances of winning the
Leafs/Sabres tickets.
As always, if there are any questions or inquiries regarding either of these
programs, please feel free to contact me any time. Thanks again to everyone
for your continuous support and here's to a strong weekend of IceDogs
hockey!!!
Cheers,
Jon
