Well folks, our long lost dogs were back in fine form tonight in Kitchener vs the Russians. Legein, Pietrangelo, and Corrente all suited up back from injury/suspension, along with Caputti.
A few quick thoughts...
Good to see them back healthy in time for the Ottawa game tomorrow, we sure know we can use them. There have been some rumblings that maybe they shouldn't have played tonight but I say all the power to them. I'm sure they were only medically cleared (Legein & Pietrangelo) this week and that there was no funny business...
Corrente looked like he has only played a handful of games this year and was little behind the play at times. However you can see he likes to play tough out there. Legein seemed to start a somewhat timidly but ended up playing his game as agitator, and did a good job keeping his emotions in check. Pietrangelo didn't look like he was coming off a lengthy layoff and seemed to be able to control the game as he usually does, although there may have been a giveaway or two. Caputti played very well as he does with Niagara. He went to the net and was causing stuff to happen.
Can't wait to see tomorrow's game!
...and the next OHL vs Russia game

I watched the game as well. Everytime one of the Dogs were on the ice, I just kept thinking don't get hurt. ;D
