Don't really care that Agozzino made the U17 team. He is not a local guy anyway. Would have been nice to see a local guy make the team. Very surprised not to see any falls boys on the team. We did have alot of top picks in the 2007 draft, guys like shugg, friesen and beck.

I don't know if you watch any IceDogs games but there is a huge difference between Agozzino and Friesen. If Agozzino is the best player on the U17 team, then perhaps Friesen should have got a shot as well. But if Agozzino is an average player on the U17 team, then Friesen was probably not even considered.
How many IceDogs will be out of the line-up around Christmas time. Agozzino to the U17 team, Pietrangelo and Legein on the World Juniors team, Caputi I believe has a shot at the World Juniors as well. Then add in the never ending injuries the IceDogs seem to have and we may be left with 12 skaters.

agree somewhat with stripes and dogman, agozzino was the kid who couldn't even finish the 2 mile run in training camp, not too impressed with him and shugg not even given a shot. Please. Beck too slow but friessen if he ever gets some ice time could have maybe had a shot. Friessen should be playing b rather than sitting the bench on the fourth line.

Not only is he 5th in points for a 91', he is 2nd in goals. But ya, since he didn't finish a little run, he hasn't been very impressive.   |

You got to be nuts! Makes me wonder if you have watched any games. The kids' on pace for 25 goals as a 17 year old rookie.  |

give friessen the ice time aggozino gets and see what he might have it's about ice time at that level and the more you get the more points you get when the skill level is comparable and that is all i can say been to a few games and like i said in an earlier post the dogs wont get that far as two lines in crunch time wont do it  |
