Tough game today with all the injuries. Local product and son of NHL Coach Ted Nolan, Jordan Nolan is in town. Looking forward to seeing the kid play. He's big and tough. I think the Dogs pull out a gutsy win.
I wish the Standard would report something regarding Snow. Rumor has it as I'm sure you're all aware is that he's been sent home. Let's hope that's not the case but it doesn't look good.
Patrick Asselin from Saginaw has asked for a trade. Overager with 9 goals and 6 assists in 15 games. Sounds like a fit for the Dogs empty overager spot. The key would be Snow. If he's still around, there is not really a need for a forward. Perhaps they could trade for Asselin, then deal Snow for some depth on the back end if there is still any interest. Brown has really botched the deals he's made this season. They'd be a lot better off with Beljo, Martine and the picks they gave away for Snow then they are now.

Obvioulsy the beljo and Snow trades were terrible (especially if the whole Snow sent home situation doesnt work itself out) But i would take Jordan Foreman over Nathan Martine anyday of the week.

Good game.
Traccito was doing his Scott Stevens impression. He had 3 huge hits. All 4 D-Men were good.
Snow looks lazy, slow and not very talented. I hope he's just rusty. He really did nothing and had the puck in good spots a few times.
Bergeron played well, just couldn't finish. At least he's get his nose dirty and using his speed a bit.
Windsor has a very solid, fast, young team. They're only going to get better.
Nolan looks good. He's a future NHL player IMO. He's big, tough and moble. Should be a good role player for 10 years.

Hello Hockey123----I agree with all your assessments of Sunday's game----I do believe some of the defence nursing injuries will have a tough time sending Traccito to the bench---this kid has quick feet and seems to play defence like great people play racketball----they always seem to be in the right place never seeming to be out of place and the play always comes to them----this kid is a very resourceful defenceman/forward----he was great for Cambridge WinterHawks he will only get better here in Niagara----this kid plays with enthusiasm and great confidence-----super game REEEEEEEGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEE-----we may not have a Mr. October but I do believe we have a Mr. January February and March!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Couple more items Hockey123----I love the family connections in the "O"-----I can remember when Bob Boughner was the Captain for Ted Nolan's Greyhounds when they appeared in the Memorial Cup---years ago----when Bob was having trouble in the minors----Teddy brought him to Buffalo and gave his olde Greyhound Captain a shot with the Sabres and Bob Boughner did not disappoint he played well for the Sabres thanks to his grit and Teddy Nolan's ability to assess talent and players will to succeed----now I see the Bob Boughner is doing DaD Ted a Fav by watching over Jordan Nolan----great family ties hockey has!!!!!!!!!!!!!!----I could speak of Sherry's Bassin's connection to all to this but I will pass for now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
One more up and coming D for the Dogs is Mr. Marione----between him and REEEEEEEEGGGGGGGGGGGGGIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEEE I was very pleased and much impressed-----I hope Mr Corrente can display the same grit when he returns----I have yet to see this lad play for our Dogs-----always suspensions and injuries-----the parent club (NHL) must be having concerns----his legs must be like rubber and his wind will be short----I hope he does well in the Russian tango----and then comes back to Dogs ready to impress!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

With all the players out of the lineup I was expecting a blow out today. But I have to say, even though the IceDogs lost, it was one of the more entertaining games I have seen this year.
