I'm surprised that the Dogs have not yet made a move to get another OA player. I could see them only have 2 OA if they were in a rebuilding year. However, this year they are suppose to be going for it all. I think they need to get another OA if they are to be a contender. However, I have heard that bottom teams usually trade thier OAs just before the trade deadline for draft picks. Is this what the IceDogs are waiting for?

I think that teams who are not contenders usually do put their overagers on the trading block after Christmas. I think that is when the Icedogs will acquire an overager if not sooner.

I like the idea of adding Kevin Baker from Sudbury. Good overage player on a weak team.

Do you know if they are looking to trade him?

Being an overager on a team that will miss the playoffs I'd assume they'd move him.
