I read on the OHL new forum that a poster overheard an OHL GM talking about a trade and he mentioned some big name Niagara Players. While I am sure that there are a number of teams that would love to have some of the IceDogs premium players on their roster, it remains to be seen whether Brown will deal these players. However, given the IceDogs play as of late, I would not rule anything out. Should the IceDogs make a couple big moves, perhaps to get a couple bigger forwards who can grind in the corners at the Jack?

what post in the new ohl forum was it? I do know that the Icedogs are actively looking to fill the 3rd OA spot. I spoke to a visiting teams coach over the past couple of weeks and they said that the IceDogs were looking for a role player to fill the spot (kill penalties, add some size and energy and responsible in his own zone)

The post was:
"Sat in front of some of the brass from Plymouth tonight and it sounded like they are talking to Niagara about trading one of their goalies east. Heard mention of Pietrangelo and Fletcher's names."
I'm sure however that many teams have inquired about these 2 players and many more. My question is will the Icedogs accept any of these offers, given that the team is now starting to play poorly.

If they don't start winning again soon, I think they may trade some of their stars. They have a lot of 19 year olds who probably won't be back next year. If they are not producing, there is no sense in keeping them as most of them will not be back next year. Most people seem to think this is the IceDogs year, so they have to make the most of it.

After watching the game tonight, I think it would be fair if they traded the entire team! What a lousy effort.
