Tough road game for the Dogs. Should be a good test for them. Corrente should be back which is good news.

Nice to see the boys got off to a good start. 3-0 down 7 minutes in. Corrente is once again a no show.

At least the game was an away game. I would have hated to watch that in person.

I watched the game on Cogeco and it was terrible. Not one line played well. Defence was bad. Loverock also had an off night, although the loss was certainly not his fault.
One has to question management at this point. They are considered to be one of the top teams in the OHL this year yet they are under performing. 3 losses in the last 4 games. No scoring in the last 2 games. Their powerplay is ranked 19 out of 20, even though they have top scorers such as Legein, Caputi, Swift and Pietrangelo. They gave away Beljo, who will probably score 40 goals this year, for practically nothing. We're reading in the paper that they are always tired and hear rumours that they are practicing too much.
Here is a question. Why did Cicchillo keep Loverock in net tonight? He was having an off night. The game was out of reach early in the third. They play 3 games in 4 nights. Why not give Loverock the 3rd period off and put in Volpe. I just don't get it.

In the first few weeks of the season the Dogs were a pleasure to watch with Legein being very visible every shift in one way or the other, and Loverock standing on his head. These things have vanished for whatever reason and they must get it back to stay on top in their division. Perhaps the excuse of being tired is true, but whatever it is they better get to the bottom of what's happening soon or they will slide down the standings playing the way they are right now.
