Former IceDogs player and Port Colborne native Nathan Martine has just been traded by London to Guelph. He was traded for a 3rd Round pick and 5th Round pick in 2009 and a 3rd Round pick in 2010. Before the season began, Martine was traded by the IceDogs to London for Foreman.
The more I read about other trades going on in the OHL, the more I think we really got ripped off with the Beljo trade. Look at it this way. London trades an overager (Foreman) and gets a player who they then trade again for two 3rd Round picks and a 5th round pick. We trade an overager (Beljo) and get one 6th round pick. Something isn't right.

That is a good way of looking at it. I guess the difference is that Brown made it known that Beljo was not going to play with the IceDogs this year. London probably would have kept Foreman so more needed to be offered for him.
