Good game to watch. Icedogs couldn't kill a penalty to save their lives, but were easily the better team when not short. I think Guelph scored 4 powerplay goals.
Petro outplayed Doughty by a fairly wide margin. Doughty got walked around twice in the first period and had to take penaties to prevent the Dogs from scoring. Petro scored the winner in OT on a rocket shot from the point and really should have been the first star even before that. For some reson he was given the third star.
Swift played with Caputi and Foreman. They looked good and had some great chances. I think Swift should stay on that line when Legein comes back. Foreman is much more suited to playing on a checking line.
The Desousa(who was first star, Sanderson, Merret line was awesome all game. All 3 scored and they really had one great shift after another. I love this line, they will never get outworked that's for sure.

Great game today the ice dogs pulled it out in overtime despite six players not in the lineup. Nice crowd on hand also should be a good game thursday against London i heard tickets are going fast for that game.

I like when they play Maione with Pietrangelo. Both guys can really move the puck.

It was a good win for a team that had a really short bench. The IceDogs only had 15 skaters, including call-up Gilbert on defence. They went most of the game with only 4 defencemen and played most of the third period with only 2 lines.

Have to agree, Maione did a nice job moving the puck out smoothly. Being a 16 year old, he'll be around for many years to come.
