Just back from the game. Nice road effort.
Agozzino was playing with Swift and had a very strong game. He's getting better every game. He had several good chances and also moved the puck well. Nice to see him getting a chance to contribute early in the year.
I got my first look at Maione. He looked good out there. A little undersized, but he can really move the puck. Made a great pass on the first goal to send Traccitto in alone. Gives them 5 good d-men.
Fletcher and Christmas dropped the gloves. I don't usually comment on the fights, because I really couldn't care less about watching kids fight each other, but this was a big time tilt. As good as any you'll ever see in the NHL. Christmas gave Fletcher a good go, but Fletcher was the clear winner landing several unanswered shots at the end.
The arena was nice, but was less than half full. About 10% of the crowd being pro Dogs.
Corrente was not in the lineup. Not sure why. I wasn't at the game yesterday. Was he injured?

Thanks for the feedback hockey123, certainly appreciate it. Maybe give us the score as well next time. Had to check the OHL website to see the IceDogs won 5-4.
Nice to see someone perhaps with more upside potential in Agozzino playing with Swift. Swift sure has the ability to find open ice with his speed and could use somebody to keep up with him and/or give him the puck...
Sounds like a different Maione than yesterday where he was fighting the puck and gave it away a few times, although I don't remember any scoring chances for Saginaw from them...
Corrente was scratched from the starting lineup at game time yesterday and did not play. (his name was announced as being one of the scratches before puck drop by the arena announcer).
Sounds like a good tilt for Fletcher

Apparently Corrente took part in the warmups on Sunday but did not play as he has an injury.

I saw the game on Cogeco today. It certainly looks like the Swift-Bergeron-Aggozzino line is now clicking. Also, moving Merrett back to the third line has really got that line playing well also. They now have 3 very solid lines. My question is that when Desousa returns from his suspension, which I believe will be on Thursday, where will he go. He seems too good to be on the 4th line, but then again, all of the players on the top 3 lines appear too good for the 4th line. So what will the coach do?
