As many have inquired today on the status of the Majors player (Matt Piva) who was taken off the ice during last night's game, I wanted to send a quick email with an update. I received an email from a Majors staff member this afternoon who informed me that he is okay and there is a chance he will be playing tonight during their home opener. Both organizations appreciate everyone's concern and here's hoping for a full recovery for Mr. Piva.
