I listened to the 610 CKTB broadcast tonight and they noted the following roster information:
Matthew Maione, Jay Gilbert and Alex Friesen are all injured.
Andrew Merret and Jordan Foreman played their first regular season games tonight.
Matt Corrente is expected to be back in the lineup on Sunday.
The IceDogs started the game with only 5 defencemen. Scott Fletcher got a game misconduct early in the first for elbowing (major penalty - does that carry a suspension?) which left the Dogs with only 4 defencemen. I wonder why they did not call up Amadio from the Falcons. He did not even dress for the Falcons tonight. The Dogs could have used an extra body on D.

Amadio was not in the Falcons lineup tonight. I heard him tell a team offical that his hand is injured. Didn't sound too serious but he didn't play.
Stephen Ceccanese played 1 shift for the Falcons. He threw a big check, got up holding his hand or wrist went straight off and right into the room. Not sure what the injury was or how bad it is, but he did not return.

Actually, I was told by Bill Burke on Sunday that Jay Gilbert was sent down to St Thomas (Jr B) . He was in the St Thomas lineup in a game against Leamington last Thursday.

It will be nice to see this team when they actually dress 20 players. But I am a little confused about this. Don't OHL teams usually have players on their farm team that they bring up to ensure they have a full line-up?

Sanderson moved back to D when Fletcher was ejected. Same thing they did for the first 2 games.
