I remember when the Thunder tried to rename the memorial arena in the Falls to the Thunder Dome, or some stupid name like that. The fans said no way as the building was named in honour of the soldiers who died in the war and they wouldn't let it happen. I'm curious if the folks in St. Kitts have the same sentimental feelings towards the name of their rink.

It use to be called the Garden City Complex and now its called the Gatorade Garden City Complex. The change really isn't that major. Personally, I think they should have dropped the name Garden City and just called it the Gatorade Complex.

Where did the name Jack Gatecliff come into play then? I thought that was the name.

Jack Gatecliff is the name of the actual arena(named that in 96), The other arena is Rex Stimers. The whole complex itself is now called the Gatorade Garden City Complex.
