According to the Hockey News Magazine edition for Sept. 18/07, the Niagara Icedogs are ranked # 2 after the London Knights. I can't wait to see how this plays out, but I can't help but feel extremely lucky at the opportunity to watch this caliber of a team in this caliber of a league right out of the gate! ;D
1.London 2.Niagara 3.Sarnia 4.Oshawa 5.Kitchener 6.Soo 7.Brampton 8.Belleville 9.Ottawa 10.Plymouth 11.Guelph 12.Windsor 13.Barrie 14.Peterborough 15.Erie 16.Kingston 17.Saginaw 18.Mississauga 19.Owen Sound 20.Sudbury
On another note: What if the Icedogs for next year, held some exhibition games in the Falls and Welland maybe Fort Erie (they have a beautiful arena) and tried to show the people that you can still love your hometown teams, but come out and support your own regional team. After all, it is about bragging rights throughout the rest of the province.... instead of the region!!

London will slip if either Kane or Gagner aren't returned to them.
My money is on Oshawa to win the league, but looking at the numbers of all the guys that are returning Niagara is right there.
I'll bet Mississauga finishes ahead of Plymouth.

That would be neat to see the Icedogs in the Fort Erie arena for an exhibition game. As you say, its one of the best around with regulation OHL size ice, generous parking and comfortable seating. I've never seen that place near being full.
