I think the IceDogs small size was very evident in this game. The Whalers seemed to push the IceDogs around a lot with little response from the Dogs. They won on the scoreboard but can they take a whole season of this. Perhaps things will change when the have their whole line-up.

As for being pushed around you will be shocked when you see FLECHER pound on a few guys. This guy is out and out frightening when he fights. 6.4 of poor UFC, Never has lost one. This guy does his job well, plays hockey and watches everyone's back. After witnessing the shameful act of sending their goon out to fight Petro, I would have loved to have Flech in the lineup tonight.

I think it may be payback time when the 2 teams meet again and hopefully Fletcher is dressed

Coldpooch is bang on in his assessment of Fletcher's impact on this team. Bottom line, if he's in the line-up tonight nobody from Plymouth touches Pietrangelo or Swift. In a few months Fletcher will be able to run for mayor of St. Catherines and win in a landslide. Go to youtube and type in his name. Watch what he did to Peckham (who was widely considered the toughest player in the OHL at the time) and Self (who is still looking for his mouthguard) and you'll see why he terrorizes the opposition.

Why has Fletcher not played? Yeah, why isn't he playing? Is he injured, or something? It sure looked to me that #30 Yovanic of Plymouth was out there to go after Pietrangelo and he wasn't giving up in his efforts. This guy gets hardly any ice time and then he's out to pick a fight. That's why a player like Fletcher is needed, especially with the IceDogs being a relatively smallish team. Yovanic had no fear of anyone out here and could just take his pick of who he wanted to take out. I don't like to see that kind of stuff happen but it does and you (the IceDogs) have to be prepared for it. It's a long season so I hope the team can handle it OK when it happens again.

It is exibition season, that is why. Your star players usually sit out. Again I can not overstate this, FLETCHER can take care of "anybody" ....period. After a game last year when he literally knocked PECKHAM, who at the time was the undisputed king into never never land, the players coming out of the dressing room stated......I never, ever want to fight that guy. "he is down right frightening"

He is having some visa issues. That is the reason he is not playing. Hopefully they will be sorted out in time for Friday.
