The IceDogs now have their roster posted on their website. Is this their final roster? It looks like Friesen made the team. Andrew Merrett is missing however, anyone know the story with him. I see the tall european player is not on the roster as well.

Number 28, Stevan Manojlovic, LW is listed but will be sent to Tier 2, Hamilton Red Wings to start the season for reconditioning as he is getting over an operation to repair Knee Problem: Collateral Ligament Tear

So is this their final roster or is this just the signed players to date. With 6 players gone to NHL camps, will they have enough players for the game tonight.

Many good looking rookies on the ice last night however it is very unlikely that you'll see many of them come the start of the season as many returnees from last season were not present in the lineup last night.

Loverock - NHL Camp (Montreal)
Caputi - NHL Camp (Pittsburgh)
Legein - Canada/Russia Series (then to Columbus NHL Camp)
Foreman - NHL Camp (Edmonton)
Cornette - NHL Camp (New Jersey)
Pietrangelo - (not sure where he was)

So that right there is a lineup of 3 forwards, 2 Defence and a starting goalie!

It was nice to see Caputi and Foreman back in the line-up although I'm sure Foreman will now get a suspension for 3rd man in. I am really looking forward to seeing Legein as well, provided he does not make Columbus.
