Where did #20 black go after the 1st day of games. Believe it was Potts. Scored 3 goals of his teams 7 and was not there on the Thursday. And please don't tell me they have committed to both Euro players. The one is definitely an asset but the other, please.

Potts was cut by the dogs. He never had a chance, never was drafted and never got to hone his skills at the junior b level. He can score, actually a great finisher. It will be interesting to see where he ends up. He was just another disgruntled canuck local player last year who will not return to the canucks.Macdonald left because he was not happy with his ice time and Potts will not return because he has seen what happens to the local players on the canucks.Players are brought in and roles are promised before camp even starts. It's too bad that all players don't have to earn their spots.

"Actually a great finisher". Didn't see it last year, except for one game against FE. Too easily knocked off the puck. Should put up better numbers with the Canucks this year and try the Icedogs camp again next year.

I heard he wanted to leave early as his chances of making the team were slim and he could keep his college eligibility.

Exactly, he would have been told in advance if he was making the team. Majority of the kids are signed in the summer for the up coming season. He could have scored 5 goals in a scrimmage and still would not have made it. The same happens with the canucks. If he goes back to the canucks which i doubt will happen where will he play ?He wants to play center looks the following players are in that spot like jukosky, kusy and caliguri so that leaves potts as the 4 line center. Do you think he will go back ?

Stripes guess you right on, wouldn't have made a difference if he scored 10. They have committed to these guys already. Guess they live and die by their picks good or bad. Fourth line center on the canucks, wow be no different than last year.

I know this is the Icedogs sight but just to finish on this subject, hope he returns to the Falls. They should just be up front with him, third line center.
