I have not sat in the seats at Gatecliff for sometime and I must say that they are terrible. I couldn't even get my legs to fit in the top row. They should sell those seats for half price. Also, I had to try 2 different seats before finding one that does not slope forward. These sloping seats are obviously broken and cause your back to ache after 20 minutes. The last seat I sat in was not broken and was more comfortable. All of the seats should be fixed before they have reserved seating. Paying $17 and then finding out your seat is broken will only lead to fans not returning. I think the IceDogs should have forgot about installing new TV's and instead replaced the seats.

The seats are horrible. I would say half of them are broken and dip forward. I would have thought the seats would have been fixed, if not replaced. It will be hard to convince fans to pay top dollar to sit in those seats for 2.5 hours.

I was shocked when I saw the old seats were there. I thought they were being replaced. Those seats are too narrow and too uncomfortable.

An OHL team finally comes and in ONLY 2 months they get it going and your complaining about the seats. Maybe they should move..eh? Support this team and you will get a new arena, its that simple. You don't and poof it goes the way of the .....well you know what I mean. |

Have you ever been to the rink? The seats should have been replaced long ago and I was surprised that the IceDogs didn't force the city to replace them. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad the IceDogs are here. I just think the bad seating puts them at an extreme disadvantage.

There is something called a budget, and the seats were not in the budget this year. They had to get other things up to OHL standards. Yes the seats should have been replaced years ago, although i did hear that next year there WILL be new seats.

Yes, I heard there will be new seats in next seaon too. Don't worry though, I'm sure there will still be something to complain about.....maybe they will be too small or too big, maybe the arm rest will be uncomfortable or there is no drink holder, maybe the seats will be the wrong colour. There is always something.
I'll just throw out an idea.....can we start a thread about the team? Perhaps we can complain that the Dogs as good as they may be aren't going anywhere if they don't get a solid number one goalie.
