Stopped by the arena today to catch some of the camp and saw the White team out there. Good skating and puck movement out there that Swift player looks like he is and will be be an absolute treat to watch.
Anyone else have any opinions or comments of what they saw today.

Swift should be one of the top scorers on the team. Are all players at camp, besides Legein who is in Russia right now. I thought they had a few NHL picks who would be attending NHL camp, or does that start later in September?

Stopped by the arena today to catch some of the camp and saw the White team out there. Good skating and puck movement out there that Swift player looks like he is and will be be an absolute treat to watch. Anyone else have any opinions or comments of what they saw today. I managed to catch all three games and was generally impressed with the skating and skill level. I thought in addition to Swift (2 Goals in the Black White Game), Pietrangelo on defense can really move the puck out of his own end. I thought also that VanLaren played very well especially when he was paired up with Pietranagelo. I also liked the skating and skill level of Frieson, Potts, Caputi, Traccitto (2 goals) and Agozzino. Although listed, I didn't see Scott Fletcher and Andrew Merrett but there were some numbers not listed on the program that played. One was number 28 not listed on the program for the Red Team that played very well. Based on today's scrimmage games (15 minutes per period with stop time) I think tomorrow's Black and White ( 20 minute per period stop time) should be well worth attending. Especially since after the Black and White game there will likely be the first deep cut of players. |

Niether Fletcher or Merrett was listed on the Black/White Roster. Also Merrett is no longer on the IceDogs Website Roster. Are either of these 2 players with the team?

Fletcher played in the exhibition game tonight. Merrett did not dress but was mentioned on the radio when they listed all the players still with the IceDogs. |
