IceDogs first broadcast this Saturday on 610 CKTB

I just received some information regarding the IceDogs radio broadcasts on NewsTalk 610 CKTB AM.

The first broadcast will be this Saturday evening when the IceDogs travel to Jamestown for a pre-season match up against the Erie Otters. 610 CKTB will be on the air at 7pm to broadcast this historic first IceDogs game.

Chuck Lafleur, who has done a number of Jr. B broadcasts in the past will do play-by-play while Kevin Jack of CKTB will be the colour commentator for all home games. A colour commentator for road games will be announced shortly.

NewsTalk 610 CKTB will broadcast all 6 exhibition games, all 68 regular season games and all playoff games.

This is great exposure for the team. I use to listen when Chuck did the Sutherland Cup finals on CHSC and enjoyed listening. Broadcasting the ex games is a nice touch as well. I will be listening Saturday for sure.
