London Knights General Manager Mark Hunter today announced that the team has traded Right Winger/Defenceman Reg Traccitto to the Niagara IceDogs in exchange for a draft pick. In exchange for Traccitto the Knights will receive a Conditional 15th Round Pick in the 2008 OHL Draft. Traccitto, 18 is a native of Oakville, Ontario. He was a member of the 2007 Sutherland Cup Champion Cambridge Winterhawks. He appeared in 9 games over the last 2 seasons with the London Knights in 2005-2006 and 2006-2007. Traccitto was the Knights 11th Round Selection at the 2005 OHL Draft.

London must have an excess of defencemen as basically he was a freebee (in exchange for a 15th round pick). Saw him play in the Sutherland Cup for Cambridge last year against the Canucks and this year against the Falcons. He was a key player for the WinterHawks. IceDogs also have a full roster of defencemen so not sure where he fits in.
