One thing I noticed is how big their defence is as every player is 6 foot or more. But their forwards seem small with only 5 players 6 foot or more and 5 players 5 foot 9 or shorter. I would think that playing on such a small ice surface you would want bigger players but then again the game has changed a lot in the last few years.

Most of first year players do not see alot of ice time as they have to learn the system and find them players to play with. The only time they do see ice time if some gets hurt. The defense looks big on paper but come game time no one will drop the gloves and they get pushed around in front of the net. They all want to be offense defensemen but in the JG arena there is no place to move and go end to end.My guess is that they will be down to 5 D come Christmas time!

By the way if you do not already know, Fletcher is the toughest player in the OHL. Nobody really wants to go him....ever. Make no mistake about it, this team has the best D in the league. It will be your pleasure to watch them.

What happened in the playoffs last year? They had the same core of D and the were caught standing around to a fourth place club.I watched it happened.I think they all got the Mike Kelly melt down.It seems to me if Mike Kelly was that good of a coach why has he not landed a job!

That "fourth place team" made it to the finals and upset a lot of higher finishing teams on their way their. And I think I read somewhere that Mike Kelly was runner up for coach of the year in the OHL?
