Just got back from a long weekend in Kingston and had a chance to see the Memorial Arena. I know they're building a new one downtown but all I can say is this. If they can play there for over 30 years and that's OK with the league, then there should be no problem playing out of Gatecliff for a few years.
The arena is in general disrepair and I find it hard to believe that it is any better than what we have here. It's looks run down, the seats are similar to ours and it's located in an older residential neighbourhood with marginally better parking than here.
I don't know what their attendance is but if they can support it in that arena then so should we.
BTW...the city streets are really bad. I think I might need new shocks . Loved their downtown...right at the water.
Their new rink is being built downtown with very little on-site parking. People are expected to park in the downtown and walk 10 minutes or so to the arena. JUST LIKE HERE.

I'm not worried about the parking situation. It might not be the best, but if someone wants to see the games bad enough they will find a way.
