A well-deserved win by the Hawks to take the league championship. The whole series was great and there is no shame in losing that series. The Hawks are one of the hardest working, hustling, never-say die teams I've ever witnessed. They remind me alot of the 1997 Elmira Sugar Kings. Best of luck in the Sutherland Cup playoffs and I'll be behind you all the way.

Nice to see Young Jake Braun get a ring in his first year... and CJ Dickson... who has worked hard for three years..... and lets not forget Hubbs.... that monkey is now off his back....

Congratulations to Hubbard, he is now a true champion and no one can take that away from him, also Dave and the entire organization for sticking in what they believed in.They said in the beginning that they were going to the Sutherland Cup series and they are. A job well done.They will pack the house again!

Well I don't think they pack the house like that again, that is as full as I have seen it. What a scene, 2 deep at least and sometimes more, stairs full even, crazy. If they get half of that in the Suthy they'll be happy.

I was talking to Hubs today and he was saying that it really hadn't sunk in yet what he did. I'll tell you what you did. You became the man overnight. Everyone will want you to coach their team because you showed that you can take a collection of players from the first of the year and make them into a championship team. Is there any wonder who the real coach of the year is? Thorold will look back on this year and remember when Rob Hubbard coached here. Onwards and upwards for the best coach in Junior B hockey.
