Why hasn't Jrb gone to the ten inch pad rule that the NHL implemented a few years back? Does the CHL restrict their goalies to the 10" pads?

I assume this is y Steele changed his pads after a great season.. his glove is also a lot smaller so it is legal to play with if he goes to the next level..Scarcella on the other hand.. has the old huge pads and a glove twice the size of steeles... legal in jr.b... illegal if he goes any higher!

scarcella has a bigger pad by an inch. the glove is the same. but at least he doesnt have to knock the net off literally 3 and 4 times a game. that is bush league and everyone knows it

... I think the D and goalie had the same thought. I know I saw the goalie push it off with his blocker hand. And I vaguely remember a falcon player right there too, with a hand near the top of the net. It was pretty chaotic.

If the league allows it, go for every advantage you can get, I don't blame him.
