I found it interesting that in Potrecz's article in the Standard he mentioned something that I believe will be the biggest factor in who will win the GHL. While Larivierre spoke cautiously and intelligently to him, his remark about Hubbard was that he was nearly bouncing off the walls. In order to win, you have to have confidence and believe that you are ready to win. Winning takes control and methodical thinking. Next to an irrational Hubbard, Larivierre could look like Scotty Bowman. It is kind of funny in one respect, sad in another, because this could be the biggest moment in Hubbard's life and just another day at the office for Larivierre. If Hubbard can't keep it in check, it will be a close series. If Hubbard keeps it in control, Thorold will walk on the Falcons.

Hubba Bubba looked calm, cool, and collected behind the bench tonight and I never noticed Thorold walking all over the Falcons. Hubba Bubba is gonna blow a gasket or two sometime during this series. It's just a matter of when.

Hubs under control lasted about three minutes. Wouldn't want to be anywhere near Thorold after they lost a 2-0 lead. The question now is will the Hawks bounce back. There are enough players fed up with the constant berating, but I hear Hubs took this to a new level after the game. Can the Hawks overcome their head coach's insecurities and still win or do they just pack it in? Stay tuned for more answers after tonight.

I would rather lose game 1 than game 7 as you have a chance to learn by you mistakes and continue to get better.I think they know what it takes so it will be interesting!
