Here are a couple of Falcon facts to ponder before the start of the final series. Fact one: The Thorold Blackhawks have NEVER defeated the Falcons to win the Golden Horseshoe Championship series. The Falcons however have defeated the Blackhawks in the finals three times: 1990, 1994 and 2000. Fact two: The Falcons haven't lost a home playoff game in Jack Gatecliff Arena in over two years. They are currently on a 14-game winning streak at home in the playoffs.

Fact one: Never forgive Thorold for the game 7 ticket fiasco in 2000.
Fact two: Doesn't mean a whole lot when Thorold has home ice.

it was also the first time that thorold had won a play off series against a st catharines team... so I would think that monkey is swinging in another tree now...

l it was also the first time that thorold had won a play off series against a st catharines team. Not true queenscowboy.....Thorold has beaten St. Catharines in two other playoff series: The 2002 quarter-finals and the 1970 semi-finals.

Only one fact needed here:
Do you really think these statistics are what is going through the minds of these players during the series. Not a chance, these mean nothing!!

hmmm facts to ponder...not that it matters because cole (that thorold lover) was coach for all seven games between the two teams this year and have only played each other twice in this calendar year (jan. 11 and 24) but the results favour thorold especially in st. catharines where thorold won two of three. all four thorold victories were by two goals. st.catharines had a one goal victory to go with a four goal victory in thorold and a 1-1 tie...in a meaningless 46 or 48 game schedule. specialty teams will be the difference, again edge to thorold. coaching...you don't want me to be mean, do you? if the falcons can be as dominant as they were against niagara falls (ludzik excluded), they have a chance. now everybody cheer for london and cambridge in the other finals (cause neither fan base wants to go to windsor, nor do they want to take the dirt road that leads to elmira). at least you can get some fans in our arenas. good luck to both teams...well except for you thorold.
