i just wanted to see what other people's views were about the OHL Draft, personally i think the OHL draft is an absolute farce, the draft is barely even about talent anymore all it is now its just politics and who is who's son/brother/uncle, so many good hard working kids never get a chance at the O because kids that are sons of former pro's or brother's of good players get their spots or are drafted for doing nothing and being half as good as kids who were passed on, look at mike neal the brother of NHL draftee James Neal who is a heck of a junior player, i'm a belleville bulls fan and they drafted him in the 2nd round and i saw him at the bulls camp and he wasn't half as good as the bulls 15th rounder, it just goes to show you kids with names like nolan and others get their chances because of who they are not how good they are and it disgusts me when this happens and hard workin kids who have no relations to people in hockey deserve to be drafted but aren't and are starting their junior careers behind the 8 ball because they went undrafted because of deals other kids daddies made.

Once again, Nolan was the top point scorer for his Minor Midget team and got more points this year than most other players in past years. The fact their team wasn't that good makes this even more of an accomplishment. Nolan might have gone a little higher than he should, but if your arguement is that someone on that team (who wasn't drafted) should have been drafted instead of Nolan than you are nuts. The reason this team did not do well was because after the five players drafted the rest of the team was barely AAA calibre.

You are sooooooooooo right! It is beyond me ! The players they draft have less talent than the players they don't draft. It is a farce. You will just have to wait and see where these kids end up. Like most others in the OHL, no where to go and no education !

Your an idot Disgusted also, OHL gives you free schooling in canada after your done playing, you have till your 21 to use it. Dont cry because you or your son did not get drafted.
